画家・アーティストのナガモトマイ氏がデザインから原型製作まで
手掛けた人気ソフビ「フテネコ／FUTENEKO」の未開封品です。
不機嫌そうな表情の猫という、可愛さと陰りが同居した造形が特徴。
本個体はダークグレー〜ブラック系の成型に、
ペールブルーの前足・後足を合わせたカラーリングです。
ヘッダーカード付きの袋入り状態のまま保管しております。
■ 作家について
ナガモトマイ（Mai Nagamoto）／東京都台東区出身。
幼い頃から絵を好み、独学で制作を続ける。
子供の頃の純真さ・無邪気さと、大人になるにつれ心の隅に現れる
陰鬱さを、ポップな色彩と深く暗い色彩・造形の対比で表現。
国内外のギャラリーやアートフェアで個展を開催しており、
香港・上海・シンガポール・台湾・タイ・サンフランシスコ・LA
など海外での活動歴も豊富です。
2014年よりソフビフィギュアの造形・塗装・販売を開始。
フテネコはメディコム・トイのVAG（VINYL ARTIST GACHA）、
まんだらけCoCoo限定版、代官山 蔦屋書店限定版など
数多くの限定展開があり、いずれも抽選販売となる人気シリーズです。

■ OVERVIEW
"FUTENEKO" — an unopened sofubi (Japanese soft vinyl) figure
designed and sculpted by Japanese artist Mai Nagamoto.
FUTENEKO ("sulky cat") is one of her signature characters:
a cat with a permanently displeased expression, balancing
cuteness against a quiet melancholy. This example is molded in
a dark grey / black body with pale blue paws.
Still sealed in its original header-card bag.
■ ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mai Nagamoto — born in Taito-ku, Tokyo, Japan.
A self-taught painter whose work contrasts the innocence of
childhood against the melancholy that surfaces in adulthood,
expressed through pop color set against deep, dark tones.
She has held solo exhibitions and participated in live painting
and art auctions internationally — Hong Kong, Shanghai,
Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Since 2014 she has sculpted, painted and released her own
sofubi figures.
FUTENEKO has appeared in Medicom Toy's VAG (Vinyl Artist Gacha)
series, as Mandarake CoCoo exclusives, and as Daikanyama Tsutaya
Books exclusives — all released via lottery.
